Position Description

Analyst, Strategic Projects – Turkey

CHEP is a global provider of supply chain solutions serving the consumer goods, fresh food, beverage, manufacturing and retail sectors in more than 60 countries. We offer a wide range of logistics and operational platforms and support services that are designed to increase performance and lower risk, while protecting the environment.

Position Purpose

The job holder will be responsible for the optimal recovery of assets which sent to Out of Pool countries and ensuring it is align with in the Turkish regulations and CHEP COC and SOPs. And responsible for all aspects of the planning, development and implementation of asset management projects across Turkey, such as asset loses and leakage mitigation projects across Turkey and in interaction with other people around the organization.

And also, the job holder will be responsible for supporting the procurement of office supplies

Responsibilities

Out of Pool Responsibility:

  • Responsible for monitoring evolution of OOP follows and OOP recovery flows
  • To identify Black Pool users
  • To monitor Emitters flows with declaration to OOP Countries
  • To identify Emitters flows to OOP without declaration
  • Prepare the budget for recovery costs
  • Identify alternative, more cost efficient ways of recovery of OOP pallets
  • Open new collection engines in OOP countries not covered by existing collection engines
  • Evaluate the impact on the OOP recovery process
  • Evaluate and modify OOP reporting
  • To provide support to the Line manager in regards to maintaining relationship with the Turkish Exports Associations, industry & trade associations, professional, consultants and policy thought leaders and influencers..
  • Prepare projects in order to stop illegal CHEP Pallet flows to OOP countries.

Responsible for the Projects Management

  • Managing all aspects of the planning, development and implementation of asset loses and leakage mitigation projects across Turkey (existing and future)
  • Prepare cost optimization projects for Company car Leasing and Office facilities procurment

Drive agile execution of Strategic Projects by

  • coordinating the planning and implementation of the Project
  • facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • defining project tasks and resource requirements
  • developing full scale project plans and documenting all gate deliverables
  • prepare project budget and resource allocation
  • planning and scheduling project timelines
  • tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • constantly reporting on progress of the Projects
  • presenting reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • running project evaluations and assessment of results

Challenges

  • Lack of OOP countries dynamics knowledge
  • Leakage and losses dynamics for the local country
  • Significant amount of travel required

Qualifications

A degree in Business Studies, Engineering or relevant studies

Experience

  • Proven track record and 2-4 years in a project management positions experience in retail / FMCG within a multinational environment
  • Understand and implement long-term effective projects
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external parties
  • Experienced in Supply Chain
