Purpose of Position

To lecture various Information Technology related modules on the BSc IT qualification.

Duties and responsibilities

Lecturing

Student consultation

Research supervision

General and academic administration

Assessment: setting, marking and moderation

Assistance with the preparation, co-ordination and attendance at functions, events, registration and activities (exhibitions, open/career days)

Qualifications

Minimum qualification

At least a relevant Hons Degree, but preferably a Masters’ degree.

Experience

Relevant lecturing or teaching experience

Experience in a higher education environment will be beneficial

Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes

Relevant research experience
